The Power Rangers legacy of fun action figures continues, with Retro-Morphin figures for kids and new fans just discovering the awesome action of Power Rangers or collectors who want to build, rebuild, or fill out their collection. Go Go Power Rangers!

PACKAGING:

Before we open this up, let's take a look at the packaging.

The Green Ranger, like the rest of the retro figures in this line, comes on the standard blister card packaging. You have the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers logo at the top with some pictures to show you the Morphin action. The figure is displayed in the middle of the blister bubble with his name right below.

Turning the packaging to the side we can see we get a nice look at the side of the figure as well as a look at one of his included accessories.

Moving to the back we get a look at the rest of the figures in this 2nd wave.

Turning the card around one more time we get a look at the figure on the other side. This is perfect for any collector that wishes to keep the figure mint on the card.

OUTSIDE OF THE BOX:

Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.

Taking the Green Ranger off the card we can see that Hasbro not only did a great job of re-making the Green Ranger. They were able to add things to the figure that we never had before on the original from the 90s like the correct boots, gloves, and a black holster on the side. The only thing they did mess up was they gave him a gold gem on his helmet when it should be red.

TRANSFORMATION:

To Transform The Green Ranger is very easy. You pull off the shield and push down the button on his back. The head will flip revealing Tommy.

ACCESSORIES:

Let's see what kind of accessories the figure comes with.

NINJOR COMES WITH:

Dragon Dagger

Blade Blaster

ARTICULATION:

How can we pose the figure? Let's find out!

GREEN RANGER’S ARTICULATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

HINGED SWIVEL SHOULDERS

Gives the arm 360-degree rotation as well as moves the arm up and down.

SINGLE JOINTED ELBOWS

This allows you to bend the arm about 90-degrees.

HINGED SWIVEL LEGS

With this it allows the legs to move out to the side along with some front and back motion.

SWIVEL ANKLES

The ankle swivel allows you to turn the foot in a 360-degree rotation.

SINGLE-JOINTED KNEES

The joint allows you to bend the leg about 90-degrees.

SIZE COMPARISON:

How does the size of this figure compare to others?

Green Ranger stands right around the 5-inch mark

Here is Green Ranger standing next to my original Green Ranger from the 90s as well as the 2010 Green Ranger.

Lastly, we have him standing next to the Lighting Collection Green Ranger.

RATING:

What are Baby Huey's scores for the figure?

PAINT JOB 4/5

The paint job on the figure is done very well, he does lose a point due to the gem on the helmet being gold and not red and the moprher being silver and not gold.

FIGURE SCULPT 5/5

The sculpt is very well done overall. It does look and feel like an updated version of mine from the 90s.

POSING 5/5

This figure overall has more movement than the one from the 90s. much improved.

ACCESSORIES: 5/5

He comes with his Dragon Dagger and a blade blaster, not sure what else you could ask for.

DURABILITY 5/5

The plastic is strong, now worry of it breaking

OVERALL SCORE 4.8/5

a few small paint fixes and this guy is a solid win. This is what an update to a classic figure should be. Hasbro really nailed it.

RETAIL COST: $13.99

I picked mine up at my local HASBRO PULSE
