Toying Around - Top Ten of 2021

So another year has come and gone, this year like the year before wasn’t the greatest but at least we did get some really cool toys and action figures.

I just want to thank you all for all the love and support you all give me, this would not be possible if not for all of you so thank you!

So sit back and take a look at my TOP TEN from all the figures I reviewed this past year.

Check out my previous Top Ten’s

2016

I hope you enjoy, Cant wait to see you next year!

#10 - Dark Knights Death Metal Batman

Kicking off the list this year we have Batman from the Death Metal story line. Not only is this a cool looking Batman but he is a Black Lantern Batman on top of it. This is also the first DC Multiverse figure from McFarlane that has upper thigh cuts.

#9 - Super 7 ReAction Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Green Ranger

Anyone who knows me knows I love the Green MMPR. This is just a fun little figure. Super7 might charge a little too much for them but hey it’s another Green Ranger to add to my display.

#8 - Target Exclusive Batman Beyond

I love Batman Beyond. I try to get every figure that they come out of him, I really wanted to get the Terry version of the figure, not this Tim Drake one, however the figure itself is very well done, and I’m glad that I have both versions of him now.

#7 - DC Retro '66 Batman

Was a little sad when I found out this line was going to be a 6-inch line since McFarlane does 7-inch figures, however, I really enjoyed my time playing with and taking pictures of this Batman. Kinda got me excited to get the rest of them.

#6 - Disney Mirrorverse: Buzz Lightyear

I was super excited about this figure when he was announced. When I got him in hand though I was disappointed. The joints are super loose on him, he is back heavy, when/if you can get the backpack to pop in. I just had high hopes for him and was a little letdown.

#5 - Justice League 2021 Superman

This is a very good Superman figure. I would have him higher up on the list however he does suffer from some plastic stressing at the upper bicep and time you turn them. I do worry over time it’s going to start to weaken and break.

#4 - Spider-Man No Way Home - Integrated Suit

Spider-Man is my favorite Marvel Hero. So I was really excited to get my hands on this figure. He is very well done and the gold paint really does pop on him.

#3 - MOTU Revelations Masterverse: Man-At-Arms

Man-At-Arms is one of my favorite MOTU heroes and to me, this figure did not disappoint me. Wave one of the Masterverse figures suffers from very soft plastic. The 2nd wave fixed that issue and i’m glad they did.

#2 - Batman Three Jokers - The Comedian Joker

This figure arrived from GameStop a day before I was going to write my last review for the year, and I’m glad he did show up when he did because he really blew me away, I am looking forward to the rest of the figures from this 3 Jokers line.

HONORABLE MENTION

Power Rangers Retro-Morphin Green Ranger, MOTU Revelations Masterverse: Skeletor and John Walker Captain America/US Agent

While all of these figures are fun they all just missed out on the list. I included both Jonh Walker’s since they are the “same but different”

#1 - What If? Zombie Captain America

Zombie Cap is my favorite figure from this past year. The detail that Hasbro put into him is amazing. I never thought I would ever see a Zombie figure from Hasbro but here we are. The upcoming Marvel Zombie show only gives me hope that they will bring us more Zombie figures in the future.

So That’s a wrap on 2021, Thank you all again for another awesome year of toy reviews.

I will see you again in 2022.
