Toying Around Reviews - Scarlet Spider Funko Pop!

Funko Pop! - Scarlet Spider

Today we will be taking a look at the Scarlet Spider from Funko Pop! If you are not sure what a Funko Pop! have you been hiding under a rock? Just kidding! Funko Pop! are stylized little figures based on Tv Shows, Movies, comics, you name it! Marvel ones a little more special as they are all bobble-heads.

This Scarlet Spider Pop! can only be found at Walgreens.

Packaging:

Before we open this, let's take a look at the packaging.

Looking at the front of the box you can see on the top you have the Pop! logo on the left with the Marvel logo in the middle and the number #187 as this is the 187th in this Marvel line. There is a nice big window that clearly displays the Scarlet Spider for anyone who wishes to display his inbox. On the bottom, there is a nice cartoon drawing of the scarlet spider and his name next time him running along the bottom of the box.

Turning the box to the left you can again see the Marvel and Pop! logos, The same artwork from the front only now a full-sized picture of it with his name and figure number below him.

The back of the box also gives you a look at some of the other Spider-Man Pop! figures that you can collect. #79 Black Suit Spider-Man, #81 Spider-Man 2099, #82 Venom and the one we are looking at today #187 Scarlet Spider.

If you are one who wants to keep the Pop! in the box, you turn the box around one more time you get a nice wrap-around of the window to show off Scarlet Spider from the side so you can get a nice clean look at him.

Outside of the Box:

Let's open the box and take a closer look at Scarlet Spider.

Taking Scarlet out of the box you can see that they did a very nice job making him look like his comic book counterpart only stylized.

Articulation:

Only if you count the bobble of the head :-)

Overall:

A Funko Pop! is always fun to collect. If you are into collecting the Pops, a Scarlet Spider fan or just like to get a few here and there to show off on your desk as I do! Then I would say head out to your local Walgreens and try and hunt him down.

Retail Cost: $9.99
