Disney Toy Box Genie

Today we will be taking a look at Genie from the Disney Exclusive Toy Box line.

The Toy Box line is a newer line that Disney has been putting out themselves. All the figures in the line (Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar) are based loosely on the old Disney Infinity toys-to-life game that was available on PS4, Xbox and Wii U.

PACKAGING:

Before we open this up, let's take a look at the packaging.

Genie comes in the standard Toy Box box, however, the box is a little bit bigger than a normal figure due to the size of the figure. At the top, you have the Disney Store exclusive logo with the Disney Toy Box Logo running down the left side of the box. Genie is clearly displayed inside the blister card. Behind him, you have a big grey #12 as he is the 12th figure in the Disney Toy Box. Down the bottom, you have Genie's name.

Turning the box to the side you have a clear side look at Genie. This is perfect for collectors who wish to keep the figure mint inside the box.

On the back of the box, we have a brief little bio about the Toy Box and the big #12 again to let you know he is the 12th figure in this line. Right below we have a picture that shows Genie and Aladdin, as Aladdin will also be available.

Flipping the box around one more time we have some artwork of Genie. This is the artwork based on how Genie appeared in the Disney Infinity Game.

OUTSIDE OF THE BOX:

Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.

Taking Genie out of the box we get a very nice look at the blues that they used on him. We have a light blue for the body and a dark blue for his pants. The red on the pants and the gold on his pants pop too.

ACCESSORIES:

Let's see what kind of accessories the figure comes with.

Genie comes with:

His Lamp

ARTICULATION:

How can we pose the figure? Let's find out!

GENIE'S ARTICULATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

Hinged Ball Jointed Head

It allows you to swivel the head 360-degrees and tilt the head back and forth.

Ball Hinged Shoulders

Gives the arm 360-degree rotation and also the ability to raise and lower the arm.

Swivel Single Jointed Elbows

This allows you to bend the arm back and forth along with turning the arm 360-degrees.

Swivel Hinge Wrists

It allows you to turn his wrists in a full 360-degree circle while also bending them up and down.

Waist Swivel

This lets you be able to turn the figure around 360 degrees at the waist.

Ball Jointed Legs

With this it allows the legs to move out to the side along with some front and back motion.

Hinged Ankles with rockers

The ankle hinge allows you to bend the foot front and back. The rockers allow you to rock the ankles towards the outside and inside of the legs of the figure.

SIZE COMPARISON:

How does the size of this figure compare to others?

Genie stands right at 6 inches tall.

Here is Genie standing next to the 80 yeas Iron Man.

RATING:

What are Baby Huey's scores for the figure?

PAINT JOB 5/5

Not much paint total on the figure, but that paint that is on the figure is spot on.

FIGURE SCULPT / POSING 5/5

Sculpt is spot on for how the Genie looked in the movie and also the Disney Infinity Game.

DURABILITY 5/5

The plastic that they used is very strong and I do not feel like he is going to brake.

OVERALL SCORE 5/5

I love this figure and I am so happy that Dinsey is starting to make more Disney baed figures.

RETAIL COST: $14.95

You can only get yours at the DISNEY STORE.
