Today we will be looking at Black Adam from the upcoming Black Adam Movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. This is how Black Adam will look in the Black Adam movie. Black Adam is scheduled to come out on October 21, 2022
McFarlane Toys, a subsidiary of Todd McFarlane Productions, is a company founded by comics creator Todd McFarlane which makes highly detailed model figurines of characters from movies, comics, popular music, video games, and various sporting genres.
PACKAGING:
Before we open this up, let's take a look at the packaging.
Starting at the front of the box, we have a nice big window that lets us see the figure and everything he comes with. The top of the box lets us know that the figure has 22 points of articulation. The bottom of the box has the DC Multiverse logo, the Black Adam movie logo as well as Black Adam’s name.
Turning the box to the side we have the name of the figure, and where the inspiration for the figure came from.
The back of the box gives us a picture of Black Adam, this is the same picture that is on that trading card inside the box.
Turning the box around one more time we get a small window that lets us see the figure.
OUTSIDE OF THE BOX:
Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.
Taking Black Adam out of the box we can see all the little details that McFarlane Toys has put on this figure. McFarlane Toys has been a little hit or miss when it comes to live-action head sculpts. This one is just ok, I mean you can see the Rock if you squint. For some reason, to me, the one that comes with the cape and hood looks more like him.

How can we pose the figure? Let's find out!
BLACK ADAM’S ARTICULATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
DUMBBELL JOINTED NECK:
allows you to turn the head 360 degrees.
BUTTERFLY HING:
This allows you to move the shoulder area front and back to get a better range of motion.
BALL HINGED SHOULDERS:
It gives the arm 360-degree rotation and also the ability to raise and lower the arm.
UPPER BICEP SWIVEL:
This cut lets you turn the whole arm below the cut 360 degrees.
DOUBLE-JOINTED ELBOWS:
This allows you to bend the arm over 90 degrees.
BALL SWIVEL HINGE WRISTS:
With this, you can turn his wrists in a full 360-degree circle while also bending them up and down.
DIAPHRAGM SWIVEL:
This lets you turn the figure around 360 degrees at the diaphragm.
BALL JOINTED WAIST:
This lets you be able to turn the figure around 360 degrees at the waist.
HINGE JOINTED LEGS:
With this it allows the legs to move out to the side along with some front and back motion.
DOUBLE-JOINTED KNEES:
The joint allows you to bend the leg itself back to the butt of the figure.
BALL JOINTED ANKLES:
The ankle hinge allows you to bend the foot front and back and also to the left and right.
TOE JOINT:
This allows you to bend the toes up so you can pose the figure a little better when making him look like he is running or walking.

The paint around the arms, legs and lighting bolt is very well done.
FIGURE SCULPT 4.5/5
The sculpt overall is not that bad, I just knock half a pint off from the head sculpt.

This figure can get into just about any pose you would want him to get into.
ACCESSORIES: 5/5
The Lighting effects are nice, not sure what else you would add to him.
DURABILITY 5/5
Plastic is nice and hard and the joints on this figure move nice and smoothly.

I really do like this guy a lot. I just wish the head sculpt looked just a little bit better.

So another year has come and gone, this year like the year before wasn’t the greatest but at least we did get some really cool toys and action figures. I just want to thank you all for all the love and support you all give me, this would not be possible if not for all of you so thank you!
