Marvel Legends Ultimate Spider-Man & Vulture Two-Pack:

For today's review, we will be looking at the Vulture from the Walmart exclusive, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Vulture two-pack.
The Marvel Legends Series is a Mid-Tier toy line that both collectors and non-collectors alike would be interested in. With multiple scales ranging from 4 inches to 12 inches and a good mix of detail and articulation, these figures tend to look good both inside and outside of the box.
Now this Vulture from the Ultimate Universe is not Adrian Toomes, his name is Blackie Drago. If you are not familiar with Drago lets give you a little breakdown.
“Once an operative of the elite intelligence agency S.H.I.E.L.D., Blackie Drago was decommissioned for unknown reasons and became a criminal mercenary. He was hired by disgruntled inventor Elijah Stern to kill the Roxxon Corporation’s CEO Donald Roxxon as part of a revenge scheme.”
Packaging:
Before we open this, let's take a look at the packaging.
Vulture comes packed in the stranded Marvel Legends Series two-pack box that we have been seeing the past few years. You have the Legends Series logo at the top. Both Spider-Man and Vulture are clearly displayed in the middle through the large window that showcases the figures and the accessories well. This gives great visibility for those collectors that may not be opening it. On the Bottom left you to have the WALMART EXCLUSIVE sticker, as you can only find this two-pack at Walmart. Below that you have the Ultimate Spider-Man logo with the names of both Spider-Man and Vulture on either side.
On the left side of the box, you have some artwork of the Ultimate Spider-Man.
The back of the box shows the promo picture with both Spider-Man and Vulture ready to throw it down. On the left, you also get a picture of Ultimate Spider-Man #90, the 1st appearance of the Ultimate Vulture.
Turning the box to the other side we get some artwork of the Vulture.
Outside of the Box:
Let's open the box and take a closer look at the figure.
When you first look at the Vulture you notice the bright shiny green plastic and paint that Hasbro used on the figure. The lighter green around the collar really pops on the darker green that is used for the body.
Accessories:
Lets take a look and see what Vulture comes with.
What would Vulture be without his wings? His wings are a very nice size and attach to him through the holes on his back. The wings are done in shiny metallic paint that almost makes them look like metal.
Vulture also comes with an alternate head. This head is a vulture looking mask. If you have never seen it before just watch an episode of the Ultimate Spider-Man on Disney XD the Vulture on the show wore the same mask. It was nice of Hasbro to put that in since the Spider-Man in this pack is based on the same TV show (more on that in his review).
Articulation:
How can we pose The Vulture? Lets find out!
Vulture's articulation includes the following:
Hinged Ball Jointed Head - allows you to swivel the head 360 degrees and tilt the head back and forth.
Butterfly Joint - this lets you move the entire arm front and back so you can get more movement.
Ball Hinged Shoulders - gives the arm 360-degree rotation and also the ability to raise and lower the arm.
Double Jointed Elbows - this allows you to bend the arm back to have the hands near the shoulders.
Swivel Hinge Wrists - allows you to turn his wrists in a full 360-degree circle while also bending them up and down.
Ab Crunch - this cut lets you be able to bend the figure front and back at the Abs.
Waist Swivel - this lets you be able to turn the figure around 360 degrees at the waist.
Ball Jointed Legs - with this it allows the legs to move out to the side along with some front and back motion, the skirt doesn't limit you too much on the movement.
Upper Thigh Swivel - the leg can rotate around a full 360 degrees.
Double Jointed Knees - joint allows you to bend the leg itself all the way back to the butt of the figure.
Hinged Ankles with rockers - The ankle hinge allows you to bend the foot front and back. The rockers allow you to rock the ankles towards the outside and inside of the legs of the figure.
Size Comparison
How does this figures size compare to others?
The Vulture stands just at the 6" mark. His wings are an impressive 13.5" long.
For some size comparison, we have Vulture standing with the old 2005 Toy Biz Vulture from the Fearsome Foes Boxed Set and the new 2017 DC Multiverse Hawkman. We also have Vulture with his box mate, the Ultimate Spider-Man, and the pizza eating Spider-Man from the 2015 Hobgoblin wave.

What are Baby Huey's scores for the figure?
Paint Job: 4/5
It's kind of hard to get it wrong when you are only using a few colors, but the man did Hasbro do a nice job on this one. The metallic paint was a good touch and didn't have any missed spots with the paint as a whole on the figure.
Figure Sculpt: 2.5/5
Sculpt wise the figure is not bad at all. Good choice to reuse the Superior Venom body since this figure is tall and lanky.
Posing / Durability: 2/5
This is where I was getting a little frustrated with the figure. Out of the box my figure had a wrapped right arm and the left leg would not bed at all at the knees, nor would the ankle would move. Running him under some hot water took way longer then it should have to get the leg to move. I did feel like I was going to break the figure’s leg after it did start to move.
Overall Score/Final Thoughts: 2.8/5
How hard it was to get the figure to move really hurt him in the end. I do like the figure a lot. Just sucks that the joints are so tight on mine the trying to get him to move and pose makes me feel like something is going to snap at any second.
