Welcome Firesiders, we had to do it. With so much controversy and backlash surrounding the Kevin Smith produced Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 1, we knew a review and discussion was needed. He-man and the Master’s of the Universe animated series was first introduced in 1983 following the success of the toy line two years earlier. The series ran for two seasons totally 65 episodes and continued to live on in syndication for years afterward. Since the original series, there have been multiple incarnations of the property with various toy lines to match. Mashko, Mr. Maurer and Baby Huey talk about the past, present and future of this iconic franchise as well the current controversy of the Netflix show.
